Huck’s Convenience Store at 1st and West Main in downtown Fairfield is undergoing a major renovation and remodeling of their store. The inside of Huck’s has completely taken on a different look with the inside work continuing almost on a daily basis. A spokeswoman for Huck’s says new stoves will be installed for the kitchen area and a spokesman from the construction crew says along with work continuing on the inside, starting in April, a new fuel station will be built on the west side of the business. A new entrance area on the west side is already built and the current entrance will still remain accessible with the current fuel station to be removed and restructured as a brand new parking lot, giving customers more room to park and less congestion.
