Little Prairie Christian Church will host a Pancake Supper, Trivia Night, and Silent Auction on Saturday, April 12, at the church, located three miles west of Albion on Route 15. Proceeds will benefit Til He Returns, a mission in Costa Rica where Katherine Shilling serves.

The evening’s schedule includes:

Pancake Supper: 5:00 – 6:00 p.m. (by donation, suggested $10 per person)

Trivia Night: Begins at 6:15 p.m., featuring a short talk from Katherine about the mission

Silent Auction: 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.

Trivia Night concludes: 8:45 p.m.

Guests are welcome to participate in any or all of the evening’s events.

Katherine Shilling, daughter of Lesa and Daniel Shilling, has been serving in Costa Rica for 2½ years. Til He Returns focuses on various outreach efforts, including English classes, pregnancy resource centers, gang intervention through dance programs, and support for women in impoverished areas.

The mission’s vision is to “Reshape Identity, Restore Dignity, & Rebuild Families.” Led by local leaders, the ministry is self-sustaining and also has outreach programs in Denver, CO.

This July, a team of 16 women—including LPCC members and volunteers from Wayne County, Tennessee, and Wyoming—will travel to Costa Rica to support the mission. Each participant is covering their airfare but is also raising $1,000 to support the mission’s work. Funds will help cover lodging, food, transportation, translators, and ministry costs such as rent and supplies.

Register a team for Trivia Night by calling (618) 445-3169 or visiting www.littleprairiecc.com and clicking on “Trivia Night.”

Your support helps sustain a mission that brings hope and transformation to communities in Costa Rica.
