U.S. Representative Mike Bost (IL-12) has invited high school students from Illinois’ 12th Congressional District to participate in the 2025 Congressional Art Competition. Established by Congress in 1982, this annual nationwide event allows high school students from all 50 states to showcase their artistic talents.
The Congressional Art Competition aims to recognize and foster artistic talent both nationally and within our Congressional District. The winning piece from our district will be displayed in the U.S. Capitol for one year.
Judging will be conducted by members of the local art community. Students must submit participation forms by April 17, 2025, and their artwork by April 24, 2025. For more information on the competition, including guidelines and required student release forms, please visit Congressman Bost’s website or contact his office at 618-457-5787.
