Wayne City High School is gearing up for an exciting evening as prom is scheduled for this Saturday, featuring the coronation of the new King and Queen. The festivities will kick off at 6:30 p.m., with doors opening to the public at 5:45 p.m. Attendees can look forward to the Prom court walk through starting at 6:15 p.m.
The current 2024 King and Queen, Joey Greenwalt and Cecilia Choate, will return to crown their successors. This year’s prom court includes:
Freshmen: Milly Talbert, Ben Thomason, Anistyn White, and Cole Tucker.
Sophomores: Ava Shaw, Kayne Gregory, Rylie Backes, and Marschell Mays.
Juniors: Kenzie Seidel, Dawson Wood, Alayna White, and James Walkers.
Seniors: Kenna Anselment, Case Greenwalt, MaKalyn Gregory, Joel Beehn, Rainey Loker, Pierce Bryan, Kylee Moore, Jacob Thomason, Haley Shelton, and Evan Atkinson.
The event will be hosted by master of ceremonies Kane Borah and Joanna Leonardi.
