The Wayne County Farm Bureau is pleased to announce the recipients of the 2025 Community Impact Grants. Eleven applications were received for this year’s grant, totaling $13,750 in requested funds.
The 2025 Impact Grant recipients are:
Cisne Community Center, “Heating & Air Project”, $1,500
Fairfield Public Library, “Juvenile Material Refresh”, $1,000
Fairfield Upward, “Equipment Upgrades”, $2,165
Geff Grade School, “Community Impact 101”, $535
Geff Ruritan Club, “East Entrance Awning”, $900
Village of Sims, “Community Center Roof Repair”, $900
Wayne County Agricultural Fair, “Hog Barn Gates”, $2,500
A total of $9,500 in grants were awarded for 2025 projects, more than any previous year.
The goal of the Wayne County Farm Bureau Community Impact Grant Program is to partner with local groups and individuals on projects that will have a long-term impact on our community. This is the twelfth year of the project. Almost $71,000 in grant funds have been awarded since 2014 through the Community Impact Grant program.
Pictures of the completed 2025 Community Impact Grant projects will be featured in future editions of the Wabash Valley Ag News, on the Wayne County Farm Bureau website at www.waynecfb.com, and on the organization’s social media pages.
