THREE AREA RESIDENTS ARRESTED BY THE WAYNE COUNTY SHERIFF’S DEPARTMENT ON OUTSTANDING WARRANTS

Geff resident, 45-year-old Shane Nettleton was arrested by Wayne County Sheriff’s Deputies Tuesday afternoon on a contempt warrant for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine. Around 12:30, Deputies observed a vehicle being driven by Nettleton and had knowledge Nettleton had an active arrest warrant out of Wayne County for Possession of Methamphetamine (Violation of Stayed Sentence) and conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle.  During the arrest, deputies discovered Nettleton was in possession of methamphetamine.   Nettleton was placed under arrest and transported and lodged in the Wayne County Jail for the arrest warrant and a new charge of Possession of Methamphetamine

50-year-old Eva Michelle Downen of Sims was arrested by deputies Tuesday afternoon on a Failure to Appear warrant out of Wayne County for Criminal Damage to Property. Approximately 4pm, deputies observed Downen operating a vehicle and deputies had prior knowledge Downen had an active Wayne County warrant for Criminal Damage to Property and conducted a traffic stop. Downen was taken into custody and transported and lodged in the Wayne County Jail awaiting a court appearance.

 

This (Wednesday) morning around 12:15, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and observed the driver, 54-year-old Terry R. Lee II of Fairfield was wanted on a Violation of Pretrial Release warrant out of Wayne County for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.  Lee was transported and lodged in the Wayne County Jail pending a court appearance.
