FAIRFIELD POLICE DEPARTMENT HOSTING TRAINING EXERCISES TODAY & TOMORROW

Fairfield Police Department wants to remind residents that live in the area of Southwest Park off Leininger Road that they will be hosting a large number of area police departments for training exercises today and again tomorrow  (Friday) from 8am to 4pm  that will be conducted at training facilities set up inside of the Midwest Food Bank Warehouse just south of the softball fields at Southwest Park.   Police will be closing off Southwest 10^th St just past the new dance studio driveway.  Police say residents will notice a lot of noise and officers on foot in this area, but to not be alarmed, as it’s just a part of the training exercise.
