Clay County Hospital is now accepting applications for its Fall 2025 Nursing Apprenticeship Program. This marks the third enrollment period since the program’s launch. Two nursing students will be selected to participate this fall. The application deadline is June 15th and must be submitted through the CCH website.
Applicants must meet several requirements: be a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in Illinois, be accepted into the Illinois Eastern Community Colleges (IECC) RN Program starting fall 2025, hold a valid Illinois driver’s license, demonstrate a positive attitude, be a team player, and possess ambition and a drive to succeed.
The benefits of participating in the apprenticeship include part-time employment at Clay County Hospital as a CNA while enrolled in the RN program, compensation for hours worked at CCH, payment for classroom hours for nursing courses, fully paid RN tuition, and full-time employment as an RN at Clay County Hospital upon completing the RN program and obtaining IL RN licensure.
