A rural Fairfield man, KG Simpson, sustained serious injuries Tuesday afternoon after a storm caused a machinery shed to be lifted and dropped onto the road. The incident occurred on County Road 1650E, just north of County Highway 8, south of Fairfield. Simpson’s pickup truck collided with the shed, which had been destroyed by the severe storm that impacted the area. His wife, Dakota, was not injured. Simpson was transported to Deaconess Midtown in Evansville for treatment.
