Fairfield Memorial Hospital is proud to announce the launch of a new, cutting-edge Urology Clinic, offering comprehensive care for a wide range of urologic conditions through a unique collaboration with VirtuCare, one of the Nation’s leading provider of outpatient urology services.
Utilizing advanced telemedicine technology, the new clinic combines the convenience of in-person support with real-time access to top-tier urology specialists. Fairfield Memorial’s full-time, onsite Nurse Practitioner, Erica Fearday, will work closely with VirtuCare’s experienced urology providers via secure virtual consultations, delivering seamless, peer-to-peer care for patients right here in our community. NP Fearday will start seeing patients on Monday, May 12th in the Surgical Pavilion at Fairfield Memorial Hospital.

The Urology Clinic at Fairfield Memorial Hospital treats a variety of common and complex urologic conditions. These include issues such as incontinence, overactive bladder, frequent or urgent urination, urinary retention, and recurrent urinary tract infections. Patients experiencing kidney stones, prostate enlargement or prostate cancer, and sexual health concerns such as erectile dysfunction or low libido will also benefit from the clinic’s expertise. Additionally, hormone optimization services are available for both men and women.
To support accurate diagnosis and effective treatment, the clinic offers a wide range of urologic procedures. These include cystoscopies with stent placement, lithotripsy (for kidney stone removal), and urodynamic testing. Surgical treatments such as UroLift for enlarged prostate, penile implants, and prostate biopsies are also available by Urologic Surgeon Caleb Cooper, MD in the FMH operating room. For male patients seeking permanent contraception, vasectomy services are offered in a safe and supportive environment.
