Frontier Community College’s Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) Honor Society recently presented a check for $4,800 to Jaimie Ford during their end-of-the-year luncheon held at Jovalou. The funds were raised through the “Baking A Difference” community-wide bake sale, which took place on Thursday, March 20th at Bob Boyles Hall on Frontier’s campus.
The event saw tremendous support from the community, with numerous individuals donating baked goods, raffle baskets, and monetary gifts. Thanks to their generosity, PTK was able to raise a substantial amount to assist Ford during a time of need.
Phi Theta Kappa is an international honor society recognizing the academic achievements of community college students and encouraging scholarship, leadership, service, and fellowship.
