Illini Lock Down Two Head Coaches
The Illinois football and men’s basketball programs will be in good hands for the foreseeable future. The Illini signed head football coach Bret Bielema and head men’s basketball coach Brad Underwood to six-year extensions yesterday. Both deals will become official once approved by the Illinois Board of Trustees. Both teams spent the majority of their most-recent seasons in the top-25 of their respective coaches polls.
