Fairfield Police made two arrests over the weekend in separate incidents.
On Sunday, May 12th at approximately 9:30 PM, officers arrested Tyler E. Hutcheson, 31, of Fairfield. Hutcheson was taken into custody at a residence in the 300 block of East Curry Street after allegedly violating an order of protection. He was transported to the Wayne County Jail.
Earlier in the weekend, on Saturday, May 11th, at approximately 12:05 AM, officers arrested Marshall L. Garrison II, 40, also of Fairfield. Garrison was stopped at the intersection of First and Center while riding a bicycle in the middle of the roadway without proper lighting. During a consent search, officers reportedly found controlled substances on Garrison’s person. He was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and also transported to the Wayne County Jail.
