A Fairfield man with an active warrant was arrested Monday afternoon by Fairfield Police during a routine traffic stop involving a utility vehicle.

Monday afternoon around 2:15,  police officers stopped a UTV that was not displaying an ordinance permit sticker. The driver, identified as 59-year-old Allen R. Harrison of Fairfield, was taken into custody on a Wayne County warrant for Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine due to a violation of a stayed sentence that was issued on Monday.  Harrison was also cited for operating the UTV without the required permit. He was transported to the Wayne County Jail following his arrest.

Harrison was just arrested Sunday afternoon by Fairfield Police for Criminal Trespass at a vacant house on two different occasions.
