The Wayne County Democratic Party held its monthly meeting on Wednesday, May 21st at the Wayne County Courthouse, with nine members in attendance.

Members celebrated the successful conclusion of the Donuts & Donations Drive, which ended on May 11th. Contributions are being distributed among all seven school districts in the county. As part of the event, donors were entered into a drawing, and Becky Brendal was the lucky winner of a box of breakfast pastries.

Looking ahead, the party is preparing to connect with the public at several upcoming community events throughout the summer and fall. The Democrats plan to host booths at the Fairfield Farmer’s Market, Cisne Reunion, Geff Frontier Days, Fairfield Fall Fun Fest, and Wayne City Bean Days.

The group is also continuing work on a Wayne County Political Guide, which will provide voters with information about local offices and positions up for election in Spring 2026.

The next meeting of the Wayne County Democratic Party is scheduled for Wednesday, June 18th.
