Ronald Lee Webber, 88, of Mount Vernon, Illinois, passed away at 1:45 am June 1, 2025 at Mount Vernon Countryside Manor. He was born May 6, 1937 in Dahlgren, Illinois to the late August Robert and Audrey Irene (Cook) Webber. Ronald married Marilyn (Lovin) Webber and she preceded him in death on October 2, 2010. He later married Louise (Buchanan) Webber on July 17, 2012.
Ronald is survived by his beloved wife of nearly thirteen years, Louise; son, Ronald Keith Webber and wife, Judy; step children, Jeanie Shaw and husband, Terry and Bobby Buchanan and wife, Cheryl; grandsons, Bryan Webber and wife Crystal, and Mark Webber and wife Laura; great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Emilie, Owen, and Isabella Webber; step grandchildren, Yvette Anderson and husband, Jeremy, Jessica Hughes and husband, Travis, Whitney Youngblood and husband, Wayne, Wes Buchanan and wife, Christy, and Zach Buchanan and wife, Julie; seven step great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, William “Bill” Burton Webber and wife, Sherry; and sisters, Marilyn Smith, Wilma Cross and husband, P.E., and Nancy Herzing and husband, Jim.
In addition to his parents and first wife, Ronald was preceded in death by his brother, Arthur Robert Webber.
Ronald was a retired manager for TSC.
A Visitation will be held Wednesday, June 4, 2025 from 10:00 am to 12:00 pm at Hughey Funeral Home in Mount Vernon, Illinois. A Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 pm with Reverend David Schlag officiating. Interment will follow at I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Dahlgren, Illinois. Memorials may be made in Ronald’s honor to American Cancer Society.
