On Saturday, June 28th, at Leo French Park in Fairfield, a 3-on-3 Basketball Tournament to support 11-year-old Dalton Workman, a Center Street Grade School student currently battling Hodgkin’s Lymphoma will be held.
The tournament will begin at 11:00 a.m. at the Leo French Park basketball court. Teams of four players (three on the court with one substitute) are invited to participate. The cost is $20 per player, or $80 per team.
Seventy percent of the proceeds will go directly to Dalton’s family to assist with medical expenses, while the remaining 30 percent will help fund future Leo League events.
Organizers are encouraging the public to join in—whether to play, cheer, or simply show support. A registration link will be shared next week on the Leo League Facebook page, or teams can sign up now by contacting 618-302-1315.
