The 2025 Hamilton/Wayne/White County Relay For Life was a resounding success, and organizers are extending heartfelt thanks to everyone who made it possible.

This year’s event, hosted at First Baptist Church, Carlton Center, brought together cancer survivors, families, and supporters united in the fight against cancer. The event featured entertainment by Clay Rapp, fun and games organized by the One Strong Mission Youth group, and a touching luminary display with 465 lights glowing in honor and memory of loved ones affected by cancer.

“We’re deeply grateful to the many businesses, organizations, and individuals who contributed to this year’s Relay,” said event organizers. “Your support helps fund groundbreaking cancer research and critical patient services, including free rides to treatment and lodging for those traveling for care.”

Special thanks were given to the cancer survivors in attendance, who continue to inspire with their strength and resilience, and to those who provided financial support, raffle donations, and volunteered their time.

Relay For Life remains a powerful reminder of what communities can achieve when they come together for a cause that touches so many lives. Organizers emphasized that every donation and act of kindness moves the fight against cancer one step closer to a cure.
