Wabash General Hospital (WGH) has once again been recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Illinois, marking its seventh consecutive year receiving this prestigious award. The hospital ranked 6th in the medium-sized employer category, which includes organizations with 100 to 499 employees across the state.
Megan Prosise, WGH Director of Human Resources, expressed pride in the recognition, stating, “Being selected through a process that considers not only policies and benefits but also how our team feels about working here validates the culture we’ve worked so hard to build.” She added, “This recognition means so much because it represents who we are—deeply rooted in our community and committed to putting people first.”
The awards program, started in 2006 by the Daily Herald Suburban Business, annually honors Illinois organizations that foster positive work environments. The 2025 honorees were officially recognized at a luncheon held on Thursday, May 8th, in the Chicago area.
