Chocolate lovers, get ready, the sweet celebration of all things chocolate returns to Wayne City this Saturday with the Chocolate Festival, held inside Greenfield Grocery.
Following last year’s popular debut, the event promises even more homemade and decadent treats. Attendees can indulge in hot fudge, old-fashioned chocolate doughnuts, cakes, and an array of baked goods.
A special highlight will be a flowing chocolate fountain, accompanied by strawberries, marshmallows, and homemade soft pretzels, perfect for dipping and enjoying with a fresh cup of coffee in the open-air seating area outside the store.
Festival-goers will also have the chance to sip on custom espressos and hot or cold coffees, crafted by Lori’s Custom Coffee, owned by Lori Stauffer—daughter-in-law of Greenfield Grocery owner Rhoda Stauffer. Lori will be joined by assistant barista Laura Martin. The event will be held from from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
