Reds’ Wade Miley Accused Of Supplying Drugs To Deceased Skaggs
(Cincinnati, OH) — A Reds player is being accused of a serious allegation. Court documents claim Wade Miley supplied drugs to Angels pitcher Tyler Skaggs, who died of an accidental overdose in 2019. His former agent said he was using pain pills that included oxycodone which were provided by Miley. The deposition came up as part of a wrongful death lawsuit filed against the Angels.
Men’s College World Series Preview:
The Men’s College World Series kicks off this weekend in Omaha Nebraska. Round one will consist of doubleheaders on Friday and Saturday. On Friday, Arizona and Coastal Carolina will square off in game one in a rematch of the 2016 MCWS finals followed by a matchup between Oregon State and Louisville. On Saturday, Murray State and UCLA will start the action before an SEC matchup between LSU and Arkansas. The double-elimination tournament will run through June 19th before the final two teams standing play a best-of-three series to determine a national champion.
NASCAR Cup Series Stops In Mexico This Sunday:
The NASCAR Cup Series makes a stop south of the border this Sunday. The field battles in the Viva Mexico 250 from Mexico City. Denny Hamlin hopes to build on his FireKeepers Casino 400 win at Michigan International Speedway. The driver of the Number-11 car is third in the standings while William Byron and Kyle Larson sit first-and-second. Christopher Bell and Chase Elliott round out the top-five.
