Faith J. Morse, 78, of Fairfield, passed away at 6:20am on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at her home.
Faith was born on July 15, 1946, in Staten Island, NY, to George and Mary (Zielinski) Ziel. On December 5, 1965, she married the love of her life, Robert W. Morse.
Faith was a homemaker and had been an administrative assistant. Before moving to Fairfield, she was a member of the Pentecostal Tabernacle in Staten Island, NY, where she held many different roles. After moving to Fairfield in 1996, she became a member of the Jesus Name Pentecostal Church where she was a Sunday School teacher, instructor to new teachers, play writer and director, youth service director, and fill-in piano player. She also loved to volunteer her time helping Feed My Sheep soup kitchen, where she did anything from painting scenery pictures on the walls to providing monthly give away baskets and decorating for each season. Crafting and simple carpentry were her hobbies. She enjoyed making unique gifts, quilts, and photo albums for her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her husband Robert W. Morse, her daughter Tabitha Morse of Mt. Vernon, IL, three sons Robert (Staci) Morse II of Fairfield, Jon (Kelli) Morse of Opelika, AL, and David (Melanie) Morse of Rotterdam Junction, NY, eleven grandchildren Joshua Revelo, Nathaniel Revelo, Stuart Morse, Lambri Morse, Bryce Morse, Landon Morse, Briann Morse, Dawson Morse, Sierra (Spencer) Carr, Travis Morse, and Alyssa Morse, two great grandchildren Nayeli Morse and Weaver Carr, her sister Georgiana Ziel of Fairfield and two nieces Darlene Crowl and Dorene Lowenstein.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a niece Dawn Port.
Funeral services for Faith Morse will be at 11am on Friday, June 20th, at the Johnson and Vaughn Funeral Home in Fairfield, with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7pm on Thursday, June 19th at the funeral home. As a memorial to keep Faith’s legacy alive, her family invites you to volunteer your time and talents with your local nursing homes, hospice centers, soup kitchens and any other local businesses.
