Wayne County mobile home owners are reminded that payments for the mobile home taxes are due by Tuesday, July 1st.
Tax payments can be made in several convenient ways:
In person at the Wayne County Treasurer’s Office, located at 301 E. Main Street, Suite 201, Fairfield, IL. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
By drop box, located on the west side of the Wayne County Courthouse.
By mail, sent to: Wayne County Treasurer’s Office, 301 E. Main Street, Suite 201, Fairfield, IL 62837.
Residents are encouraged to pay on time to avoid penalties. For more information, contact the Treasurer’s Office directly at 618-842-5087.
In Edwards County:
Edwards County Treasurer, Jennifer Thomason is reminding residents that Edwards County Mobile Home Taxes will be due by July 31st. Starting August 1st, there will be a $25 penalty fee added every thirty days up to a total penalty of $100.
