The Farfield Grade School District will meet for its regular Board of Education meeting on Wednesday, June 18th at 6pm in the Center Street School Boardroom. The meeting will begin with a call to order and roll call, followed by a public hearing on the 2024–2025 amended budget.
During the budget hearing, community members will have the opportunity to offer comments before the board takes action on the amended FY25 budget and officially closes the hearing.
Key agenda items include:
Approval of minutes from the May 19th meeting
Review of financial reports including payroll, bills, and the treasurer’s report
Superintendent’s updates on revenue vs. expenses, transportation, food services, and upcoming summer projects
Second readings and potential adoption of PRESS Policy 118 and the FY26 Student Handbook
Consideration of FY26 school fees, food service bids, insurance rates, and authorization for district fund expenditures
The board will also enter closed session to address personnel matters including resignations, hirings, and contract agreements. Specific personnel actions to be considered include the employment of a new school nurse, band teacher, assistant baseball coach, and special education coordinator, among others.
Reports will be presented by school principals from Center Street and North Side School, and the board will conclude with informational items before adjournment.
The meeting is open to the public.
