Wayne County families can continue to take advantage of the Feeding Kids of Wayne County program this summer, which offers free sack lunches and grocery bags to children ages 2 to 18. The program runs Monday through Friday from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m. and continues through August 8th.
Sack lunches are available at the following Fairfield locations:
Manor of the Woodlands (Manor Circle)
Lakeside Park (west side shelter, NW 7th Street)
Jesus Name Pentecostal Church, 1112 SW 6th Street
In addition to daily lunches, a sack of groceries is distributed every Monday from 11:00 to 11:30 a.m. at these sites:
Wayne City Park (West Shreve Street)
Cisne Park (Cisne Square)
Geff Grade School (west side), 201 Lafayette Street
Current donation needs include:
Ramen noodles
Canned ravioli or spaghetti and meatballs
