NBA Finals:
A new NBA champion may be crowned tonight. The Indiana Pacers will play host to the Oklahoma City Thunder in Game Six of the NBA Finals in Indianapolis. The Thunder have won back-to-back games and now lead the best-of-seven series 3-2. The Pacers are preparing to play without All-Star guard Tyrese Haliburton, who has been dealing with a lower leg injury that has hampered his performance throughout the series. A win by Indiana would force a Game Seven in Oklahoma on Sunday.

Milwaukee Brewers at Chicago Cubs (Postponed) Yesterday’s game between the Cubs and Brewers was postponed due to inclement weather in Chicago. The game will be made up as the first part of a split doubleheader on August 18th. Chicago has won each of its last three games. The series wraps up from Wrigley Field today.

St. Louis Cardinals at Chicago White Sox (Postponed) Yesterday’s game between the St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago White Sox was postponed due to inclement weather at Rate Field. The teams will play a traditional doubleheader today. Erick Fedde starts for St. Louis against Sean Burke at 1:10PM Central time, while Michael McGreevy and Mike Vasil take the mound in game two.

Men’s College World Series Finals Set:vb
The Men’s College World Series finals are set. Coastal Carolina will battle LSU in a best-of-three series with Game One taking place in Omaha on Saturday. The Chanticleers crushed Louisville 11-3 to advance to their second-ever championship series. Coastal Carolina won the College World Series back in 2016. The Tigers walked-off Arkansas in a 6-5, comeback win to make their second finals in three years. LSU won the title in 2023.
NFL Announces Training Camp Dates:
Training camp dates for all 32 NFL teams are being announced. The league confirmed reporting dates and locations for each franchise on Wednesday with most camps beginning in mid-July. The Baltimore Ravens will open training camp before any other franchise with rookies checking in on July 13th. The Houston Texans will have both their rookie and veteran players report together on the 17th. Every team will have their full roster report no later than the 24th. The 2025 preseason kicks off on July 31st in Canton, Ohio for the annual Pro Football Hall of Fame Game. This year’s exhibition game features the Detroit Lions and the Los Angeles Chargers.
