A community benefit dinner is being organized to support George Thomason with medical expenses following his recent surgeries. The event is scheduled for Saturday, June 21st at the Community Building located at 103 East Mill Street in Wayne City.
Dinner service will begin at 4 p.m. and is being provided by Don Tucker. The meal will include pork loin, bratwurst, baked beans, cheesy potatoes, and dessert, with donations being accepted for all food.
In addition to the dinner, the event will feature a gun raffle and a silent auction. The winner of a Henry .22 Golden Boy rifle will be drawn at 6 p.m. All participants must present a valid FOID card at the time of prize pickup. Simultaneously, the highest bidders in the silent auction will also be announced at 6 p.m.
