Harold Artice Ivy, 25, was found guilty of Aggravated Domestic Battery, Aggravated Battery, and Domestic Battery following a jury trial held on April 30th in Edwards County Circuit Court.
At a sentencing hearing on June 13th, Ivy was sentenced to five years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. Upon release, he will be required to serve four years of Mandatory Supervised Release. The court ordered that Ivy’s sentence run consecutively to a sentence he is currently serving in White County.
Edwards County State’s Attorney Eric A. St Ledger prosecuted the case on behalf of the People of the State of Illinois. Ivy was represented by Public Defender T.J. Parrish.
