The annual Wayne County 4-H Shows kicked off Saturday with the Horse Show at the Wayne County Saddle Club. Tonight, (Monday) the Cat and Dog Shows get underway at the 4-H building. The General Project Show will take place on Wednesday, July 2nd, at Floral Hall, featuring a wide variety of youth exhibits, from robotics and drones to crops, photography, and fine arts.
Livestock shows begin Monday, July 7th, at the Wayne County Fair, where 4-H members will exhibit their animals and demonstrate months of preparation and skill before judges and fairgoers alike.
All events are held at the Wayne County Fairgrounds, 1295 W. Main St., Fairfield, unless otherwise noted. The public is encouraged to attend and support the county’s youth. To follow event updates, visit University of Illinois Extension – Wayne County 4-H on Facebook.
