The Wayne County Fair will feature the Pig Penning competition on Friday night at 7 p.m. in front of the Grandstand offering fun for all ages and cash prizes for top teams. The event is sponsored by Citizens National Bank of Albion and admission to the Grandstand is $10.
Registration for the event will run from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. the same evening. The cost is $50 per team, and entry forms are available in the fair book, at the fair office, or can be completed on the night of the event.
Teams must include five members and will compete in several age divisions:
8 and under
9–11
12–14
15–17
18 and over
Special categories for 4-H and FFA teams and business teams
Trophies will be awarded to winners in each division, and the winning 4-H and FFA teams will also receive $250.
