EDWARDS COUNTY 4-H GENERAL PROJECTS SHOW ANNOUNCES BEST OF SHOW WINNERS AND STATE FAIR DELEGATES

The 4-H General Projects Show was held Saturday, July 12th at the Country Financial Hall Building on the Edwards County Fairgrounds, where 4-H members showcased their hard work and creativity before judges.

Best of Show awards were presented across a wide range of categories. Winners included:

Alice Wingard – Floriculture A

Evalynn Edwards – Vegetable/Fruit Display and Herb Container Display

Owen Schuh – Vegetable Plate

Lane Abbott – Vegetable Gardening Display

Zoey Bare – Civic Engagement

Hayley Perry – Service Learning

Ben Kelsey – Woodworking I

Nate Greathouse – Woodworking II

Conner Perkins – Woodworking IV

Gracie Fenton – Interior Design

Kylar VanMatre – Intercultural

Kaysen Kelsey – Family Heritage

 

Reagan Bogle, Lydia Shelby, Olivia Bunting, Lillian Bare, Kelly Hinderliter, Addison Anderson, Ava Perkins, Zeb Ankenbrand, Emily Spray, Madison Miller, Oliver Gawthorp, Ben Kelsey, Aubrie Kelsey, Landon Greathouse, Presley Shelby, Max Shelby, Wyatt Johnson, Lydia Shelby, Cody Greathouse, Kalesi Vallette, Kylar VanMatre and others in a variety of visual arts, photography, robotics, collections, creative writing, geology, sportfishing, and welding categories.

 

State Fair Delegates were also announced, representing Edwards County in Springfield this summer. Delegates include:

A special thank you was extended to all leaders, parents, volunteers, and judges whose dedication and hard work helped make the show a success and support the growth and achievement of local youth in the 4-H program.
