Three individuals appeared in Wayne County Circuit Court on Tuesday, with charges ranging from drug possession to burglary resulting in various sentences handed down by the court.
Justin Lock, 36, of Fairfield, pled guilty to unlawful possession of methamphetamine. He was sentenced to 24 months of probation and ordered to complete 30 hours of community service. Lock received credit for four days already served in the Wayne County Jail and was ordered to pay court costs.
John E. Luther, 52, also of Fairfield, pled guilty to burglary. He was sentenced to three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. This sentence will run concurrent with a previous sentence Luther is already serving at the IDOC facility in Hillsboro. He was also ordered to pay court costs.
Tyler Hutcheson, 31, of Fairfield, pled guilty to unlawful possession of a controlled substance. He received two years of probation, to run concurrent with a previous domestic battery charge. Hutcheson was also ordered to complete a domestic violence program and was sentenced to 360 days in the Wayne County Jail, with credit for 188 days already served. He was also ordered to pay court costs.
