Wayne County families in need of school supplies for their children can get help through the annual Pack 4 Success School Supply Program. Registration began yesterday and will continue through next Thursday, July 31st. The program is open to all K–8 grade school children in the Wayne County area. Families must call the WADI office at 618-842-2962 between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Thursday, to register their child or children. No walk-ins will be accepted; registration is by phone only. Supply distribution is scheduled for Wednesday, August 6th, from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Community support is welcomed and appreciated. Donations of new school supplies, hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, or monetary contributions can be dropped off or mailed to the WADI office at 2004 W. Delaware Street, Fairfield, IL 62837. Checks should be made payable to WADI with “school supplies” in the memo line. Organizers emphasize that 100% of all donations stay local to support Wayne County students. Pack 4 Success is a collaborative effort between Wayne County WADI and the TNT Sunday School class at Cornerstone Community Church.
