Illinois Hunter Safety Class Set for September in Edwards County

The Illinois Hunter Safety Class will be offered in Edwards County on Friday, September 19, 2025, from 6 pm to 9 pm and Saturday, September 20, 2025, from 8 am to 4 pm at the Edwards County Farm Bureau and Edwards County Sportsman’s Club. Attendees must be present for the entire class! The class will end with a 50-question, multiple-choice test, which must be passed to receive the certificate. Adults are welcome to attend with their children. The class and test are intended for people ages 10 and up. Friday will take place at the Farm Bureau. Saturday morning will take place at the Farm Bureau. After lunch, the group will reconvene at the Sportsman’s Club for the exam and a round of shooting. This class satisfies the requirement to hunt in Illinois.
