The 2025 Illinois State Fair announces an exciting lineup of family-friendly events at The Arena, with tickets now available for purchase on Ticketmaster.
Kicking off today ( Thursday, August 7th), Monsters of Destruction will deliver an adrenaline-pumping monster truck thrill show featuring intense truck battles. Advance tickets are priced at $25 for adults and $20 for children aged 12 and under. On the day of the event, tickets will cost $30 for adults and $23 for kids. Attendees can also enjoy monster truck rides during intermission and after the show, with upgrade options available on-site for those seeking this unique experience.
As part of the Double the Fun promotion, anyone who pays for parking on August 7th can redeem their parking pass for free parking on a return visit to the fair on either Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday.
On Saturday, August 9th, the Illinois State Fair Rodeo, presented by Wooten Rodeo Co., will showcase a thrilling array of rodeo events. Tickets are priced at $10 for adults and $5 for kids aged 12 and under.
The excitement continues with the return of the Illinois Tractor Pulling Association (ITPA) for three days of exhilarating competition from August 11th to 13th. Watch as powerful machines vie for the title of furthest pull. Tickets for this event are $10 for adults and $5 for kids 12 and under.
Culminating the week’s events, the Demolition Derby on Saturday, August 16th, will see skilled drivers crash their way to victory in a thrilling spectacle of automotive combat. Tickets are available for $25 for adults and $5 for kids aged 12 and under.
