THREE DEFENDANTS ENTER GUILTY PLEAS IN WAYNE COUNTY CIRCUIT COURT THURSDAY

Three individuals entered guilty pleas in Wayne County Circuit Court on Thursday, facing sentencing on various charges.

Richard L. Winter, 50, of Addieville, Illinois, pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of methamphetamine. He was sentenced to two years of conditional discharge, ordered to pay court costs, and will serve 30 days in the Wayne County Jail.

Lauren Schultz, 22, of Wayne City, also pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of methamphetamine. She was sentenced to 24 months of probation, ordered to pay court costs, and must complete 30 hours of community service. She was given credit for two days already served in the Wayne County Jail.

Casey Buckley, 40, of Desoto, Missouri, pleaded guilty to obstructing a peace officer. Buckley was placed on one year of court supervision, ordered to pay court costs, and received credit for five days served in the Wayne County Jail.
