Cookie Recall

By Mark Wells Aug 9, 2025 | 6:35 AM

The FDA is recalling over 12,000 packages of sugar cookies sold at Target stores, due to concerns over wood contamination in its ten-count packages of Favorite Day Bakery Frosted Sugar Cookies.

According to the  FDA, they confirmed that the cookies were shipped to distribution centers in Ohio, Maryland and Connecticut, and sold at retail outlets in 20 states and the District of Columbia.  A Target representative said anyone who may have purchased the Favorite Day products can return them with a receipt for a full refund.
