The Wayne City Ruritans welcome one of the community’s favorite traditions with Bean Days 2025, themed “Small Town Know How.” A packed schedule of events will take place over multiple days in September, celebrating local pride with food, family, and festivities.
EVENTS BEGIN SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 20TH
Kicking things off is the Bean Queen Pageant, set for Saturday, September 20 at 6 PM in the Performance Gym. Doors open at 5 PM.
THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 25TH
The community will gather for Church Night, hosted by the First Christian Church, beginning at 6 PM.
FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 26TH
The celebration continues with the Sweeties Block Party at Sweeties from 7 to 10 PM.
MAIN EVENT – SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 27TH
Saturday brings a full day of activities for all ages, including:
Tractor Show – Ag Building Lot, 7–10 AM
Hot Air Balloon Rides – WCHS, 7–10 AM
Vendor & Craft Fair – Mill Street, 8 AM–3 PM
Car & Truck Show – West School Parking Lot, 8 AM–12 PM
Quilt Show – Baptist Church, 9 AM–3 PM
Parade – Main Street, 11 AM
Free Ham & Beans Lunch – Ag Building, 12 PM
FFA Section – Mill Street, 12 PM
Pedal Pull – Mill Street, 12–1 PM
Lions Train Rides – South of Baptist Church, 12–2 PM
Bird Show – Community Building, 12:30 PM
Raffle Drawing – Ruritan Tent, 2 PM
Bingo – Community Building, 3–5 PM
