Carmi Police arrested two McLeansboro men on Tuesday night following a traffic stop near Express Lube on Main Street. Officers apprehended 70-year-old Curtis Patterson and 59-year-old John Armey around 8:30 p.m.
Patterson faces three felony charges: possession of meth, unlawful use of property, and possession of a controlled substance. He also faces misdemeanor charges for possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia, along with a citation for operating an uninsured motor vehicle.
Armey is charged with four felonies, including possession of meth, unlawful use of property, possession of a controlled substance, and obstructing justice. He also faces misdemeanors for possession of cannabis and drug paraphernalia.
Both men remain in custody at the White County Jail in Carmi pending a court appearance.
