FAIRFIELD LIVE VARIETY SHOW TO BRING NEW ENERGY TO FALL FUN FEST

By Mark Wells Aug 18, 2025 | 11:57 AM

A longtime Fall Fun Fest tradition is getting a fresh new look this year. What began years ago as the Gong Show, and later became Fairfield’s Got Talent, will now debut as the Fairfield Live Variety Show under the leadership of new event chair Avery Stence.

Stence said her goal is to celebrate creativity and highlight the many talents within the community.

“We are welcoming all kinds of acts including singing, dancing, comedy, magic and everything in between,” Stence said. “If it’s entertaining, we want to see it.”

The variety show will include age categories with cash prizes awarded. Groups are divided into ages 6–13, 14–17, and 18 and older. Wayne-White Counties Electric Cooperative will return as the event sponsor.

The Fairfield Live Variety Show will take place on Saturday, September 20th at 2pm on the Main Stage as part of the Fall Fun Fest, which runs Wednesday, September 17th through Saturday, September 20th.

Entry forms are available on the Fall Fun Fest Facebook page or can be picked up at Carnaby Square.   Entry forms are due by September 18th at 5pm.  For more information, contact Stence at fairfieldlivevariety@gmail.com.

This year’s Fun Fest will also celebrate 10 years of the Miss Fairfield Fall Fun Fest Pageant, organized by Chasity Fry.
