More than 122,000 ladders sold at Home Depot are being recalled due to a defective locking mechanism that could fail and cause users to fall.

The recall involves 20- and 24-foot Multi-Max Pro models sold nationwide between November 2021 and February 2024. Manufacturer WernerCo advises owners to stop using the ladders immediately and register online for a full refund.

According to the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, the company has received 18 reports of falls and 14 reports of injuries linked to the recalled ladders.

The ladders can be identified by their silver frame, blue top, blue side-rail label, and a long black rope in the back section.
