GEFF FRONTIER DAYS COMING SEPTEMBER 6TH

The Geff Ruritan Club will host Geff Frontier Days on Saturday, September 6th, in the village park at Geff.
A full day of activities is planned, beginning with children’s frog races at 9 a.m., turtle races at 9:30, and the diaper derby at 10. Sack races are scheduled for 11, followed by the famous ham and beans feed at 11:30.
Throughout the day, visitors can enjoy the antique tractor show inside the Ruritan Building, a car and truck show, and a dunking booth. Car show awards will be presented at 1 p.m., and the big parade around the square will step off at 2. Other highlights include a basketball shoot at 3, pedal pull at 4, a 50/50 drawing at 5, and the crowning of Little Miss Frontier Days at 6 p.m.
Food will be available all day at the Ruritan Building, and vendors will be set up in the park serving cider, sodas, funnel cakes, and fried pickles.
Proceeds from Frontier Days help the Ruritan Club support community activities, scholarships for local students, youth sports teams, and assistance for residents in need.
