The Illinois State Police Division of Criminal Investigation Zone 8 has arrested 24-year-old Jaryn L. Allen of Flora on charges involving a minor.
Allen faces two counts: Harmful Material, a Class 4 felony, and Contributing to the Criminal Delinquency of a Minor, a Class A misdemeanor.
The Flora Police Department requested ISP’s assistance on May 8th after allegations that Allen distributed harmful materials and provided alcohol to a minor between March 1st and May 7th in Clay County.
Following the investigation, ISP agents presented their findings to the Clay County State’s Attorney. Allen was formally charged on Thursday and taken into custody by Illinois State Police and Flora police officers.
She was transported to the Clay County Jail, where she is being held without bond pending a court appearance.
