Petty Officer 3rd Class Heaven D’Angelo, whose mother Elizabeth French lives in Grayville, has been promoted while serving with Navy Medicine Readiness and Training Command Annapolis in Maryland.
D’Angelo earned the promotion by consistently demonstrating professional performance, meeting Navy standards, and completing advancement requirements.
“Being advanced to hospital corpsman third class represents the Navy’s recognition of my consistent performance, readiness to lead, and commitment to service,” D’Angelo said. “It also means stepping into a role of greater responsibility, where I’m trusted to complete my duties and to mentor and support junior sailors.”
A 2013 graduate of East Richland High School and a 2021 graduate of Ivy Tech Community College, D’Angelo joined the Navy two years ago. Today, D’Angelo serves as a hospital corpsman, providing medical care to Navy and Marine Corps personnel and their families.
At NMRTC Annapolis, sailors support the U.S. Naval Academy Brigade Medical Unit and Naval Health Clinic Annapolis, which provides health care to midshipmen and TRICARE beneficiaries in the National Capital Region.
