The Eldorado School Board has officially terminated Superintendent Ryan Hobbs. According to board minutes now posted on the district’s website, the decision was made during a special meeting last month.
Hobbs had been suspended with pay earlier this summer, with high school principal Cody Cusic appointed as interim superintendent.
His termination follows reports in August that Hobbs was under investigation for possible financial misconduct. In June, the board voted to remove him from all district bank accounts.
Cusic remains interim superintendent, though the board has not indicated when it may move to select a permanent replacement.
