WAYNE CITY HIGH SCHOOL SENIOR OF THE MONTH FOR SEPTEMBER SELECTED

Wayne City High School has announced Alayna White as the September Senior of the Month, recognizing her outstanding academic achievements, leadership, and community involvement.

Alayna, the daughter of Daniel and Ashley White, is deeply engaged in a variety of school activities. She participates in FFA, Student Council, FCCLA, FFA Enrichment, FCA, Beta Club, History Club, and the National Honor Society. She is also active in the Apostolic Bible Study, Math Scholars, and the Illinois Eastern Community College Dual Credit program.

Among her many accomplishments, Alayna has served as Vice President of the Wayne City FFA Chapter, FFA Vice President of Section 24, and FCCLA Chapter Vice President. She has also represented her school in the WYSE Academic Team, placed third at the state FFA competition in mathematics, and competed at the national level in the FFA Agriscience Fair. Recently served as Honor Marshal, White also serves on Terri Bryant’s Youth Advisory Council, demonstrating her commitment to civic engagement.

Beyond her academic and leadership roles, she makes time to enrich her life with personal interests. In her free time, she enjoys participating in tumbling classes and has a passion for sewing.

Alayna’s commitment to academics is matched by her dedication to service and leadership. She plans to attend St. Louis College of Pharmacy after graduation and pursue a doctorate in pharmacy.
