HARRISBURG TO HOST 5TH ANNUAL SHAWNEE SASQUATCH FESTIVAL OCTOBER 4TH

Harrisburg will celebrate its 5th annual Shawnee Sasquatch Festival on Saturday, October 4th offering a full day of free family fun. The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and is free to attend.
Highlights include free carnival rides, food trucks, vendors, art contests, a car show, and the always-popular Sasquatch Calling Contest, with $100 prizes for both youth and adult divisions. The “Run Like a Squatch” 5K is also on the schedule.

At noon, Harrisburg City Hall will host a Sasquatch Expert Roundtable Discussion featuring David Eller, Jim Peters of The Sqwatchers, Mike Miller of the Ohio Night Stalkers, and Michael Willey, who will share their experiences investigating Sasquatch sightings.
Live music will be featured throughout the day, with the Jake Myers Band at noon, Cowboy Co. Country Music Show at 3:30 p.m., and Monsters of Yacht closing the evening at 7:30 p.m.
