​GRAYVILLE MAN SENTENCED TO SIX YEARS FOR AGGRAVATED DUI

An Edwards County man has been sentenced to prison time for aggravated driving under the influence.
On Monday, September 8th, 50-year-old Jason B. Bryant of Grayville was sentenced in Edwards County Circuit Court to six years in the Illinois Department of Corrections. He will also serve one year of Mandatory Supervised Release, formerly known as parole.
Bryant was convicted of Aggravated Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol, a Class 1 Felony.
Edwards County State’s Attorney Eric A. St. Ledger prosecuted the case for the People of the State of Illinois. Bryant was represented by Public Defender T.J. Parrish. The Edwards County Sheriff’s Office handled the investigation.
