Larry G. Goff, 70, of Carmi passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at his residence in Carmi. He was born in Mt. Vernon, IN the son of Robert L. and Helen Maxine (Rumble) Goff. Larry married Jenny Young on November 8, 2008, and they shared 17 years of marriage together. He was an avid member of the Hopewell Baptist Church in McLeansboro, IL. He enjoyed going mushroom hunting, watching Gunsmoke, and singing in church.
Larry is survived by his wife, Jenny (Young) Goff of Carmi; siblings, Robert Wayne (Diane) Goff of Grayville, IL, Barbara (David) Johnson of Carmi, IL, Johnny (Wanda) Goff of Carmi, IL, Lessie (Terry) Oeth of Crossville, IL, Dorothy Hollon of Carmi, IL, Gary (Cheryl) Goff of Carmi, IL, Wanda (Charlie) South of Enfield, IL, June (Robert) Clark of Carmi, IL, Jody (Sandy) Hollond of Oklahoma, and Billy (Anna) Hollond of Georgia; 36 nieces and nephews; and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Darrel Lyn Goff.
Funeral Services for Larry G. Goff, 70, of Carmi will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, September 17, 2025, at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Burial will follow at Poseyville Cemetery in Poseyville, IN. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, September 16, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Campbell Funeral Home in Carmi. Friends may also visit on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Larry’s memory to Hopewell Baptist Church in McLeansboro, envelopes will be at the funeral home or can be made to Campbell Funeral Home, 609 W. Main St., Carmi, IL 62821.
