The Fairfield Fall Fun Fest Mixed Team Pickleball Event is this Saturday, September 20th, starting at 8 a.m. at Lakeside Courts.
This exciting tournament will wrap up before noon and features a unique format where players sign up individually. Each participant will join a four-person team, consisting of two men and two women. The event will include both gender doubles and mixed doubles play, with each player participating in 10 games.
Games will use rally scoring to 21, with a win-by-2 rule and a side switch at 11 points to ensure fairness and competitiveness. Two divisions will vie for the top spot, with cash prizes for the first-place teams.
Registration costs $30 per player, and all skill levels are welcome. Organizers highlight that this format is perfect for meeting new people and enjoying a variety of games.
